Alex

Alex is a folklorist and ranger, and is about to complete her community herbalism apprenticeship, blending her passion for ethnobotany and plantlore. Co-creator of the popular "Fables, Folklore, and Foraging" walks in Stirlingshire, she loves teaching local communities about the intertwined history and utility of local flora. In addition to her herbalism practice, Alex immerses herself in history through her involvement in a Viking re-enactment group, Heimilið ok Iðn (Home and Craft). Her work reflects a deep commitment to fostering connections between people, their history, and the natural world, with plans to expand her educational efforts.
