She has an MA in Archaeology & Social Anthropology, with a focus on the intersection of magic, science and healing. She has been in the world of re-enactment for over 20 years, recently returning to the world of Viking age living history and experimental archaeology with a special interest in native British and Northern European plants, folk medicine and traditional remedies. Jaye has written for publication on prehistoric ritual sites, and worked as an archaeological consultant for the creative media industry. She is a tutor for the Herbal Apprenticeship at The Plant Medicine School

Alex
Alex is a folklorist and ranger, with an MSc in Landscape Ecology and Nature Conservation, and is in the process of completing her community herbalism apprenticeship. She blends her passion for ethnobotany and plantlore as the co-creator of the popular "Fables, Folklore, and Foraging" walks in Stirlingshire. Alex loves teaching local communities about the intertwined history and utility of local flora. In addition to her herbalism practice, her work reflects a deep commitment to fostering connections between people, their history, and the natural world.

Rox
Rox is a community herbalist, forager and wellbeing practitioner. She is particularly interested in women's medical history and the role of the wise woman and traditional healing in the British Isles. She enjoys exploring how foods and herbal remedies have influenced our daily life and wellbeing through the centuries. Rox is co-founder, and co-director of The Historical Herbalists CIC, founder of Movement in Thyme CIC, co-creator of The Wildfood Festival, and hosts The Sage's Cabin podcast.
